		<description>&#38;nbsp;Christopher Michael DeLoach&#38;nbsp;Christopher DeLoach is a self-taught multidisciplinary artist whose work examines the collision of language, commerce, memory, and cultural consumption. Working across painting, sculpture, installation, graphic design, merchandise, and editioned objects, he appropriates the visual systems of advertising, retail, institutional branding, and popular culture - often with an irreverence that treats seriousness itself as something worth destabilizing.

DeLoach is interested in the point at which an image becomes a product, a slogan becomes ideology, and a joke becomes a commodity. His work often circulates through the same commercial systems it critiques, collapsing distinctions between artwork, merchandise, souvenir, advertisement, and cultural artifact. Humor, provocation, and familiarity operate as entry points, but the work is ultimately concerned with authorship, value, desire, and the afterlife of images once they enter public circulation.

Developed a campaign and merchandise system for LACMA that translated institutional messaging into public-facing graphics, collectible objects, and retail concepts. The work included large-format billboard creative, limited stickers distributed to museum trustees, and a proposed gift-shop merchandise collection. This work is ongoing with new iterations continuining to develop across retail, campaign and instiutional applications.&#38;nbsp;

Commissioned to develop a series of graphic concepts for Supreme, initially intended for bumper stickers with potential extensions into apparel and skate decks. The work was completed and purchased by the brand, but ultimately not released.

ALICE COLTRANE / INDEPENDENT PROJECT 2020Concept / Copy / Design / Cultural ProductIndependently conceived and released a bumper sticker referencing Alice Coltrane’s Universal Consciousness. The work went viral and became part of a broader resurgence of music-focused bumper stickers and artist merchandise. Its success eventually led to direct conversations with the Coltrane estate, which subsequently incorporated the format into its official merchandise program.

FUTUREWISE 2022Concept / Copy / Brand IP

Developed the phrase “Living, Laughing, Slugging”&#38;nbsp;as a brand idea for Futurewise. The company acquired the IP and expanded the line across multiple brand and marketing touchpoints, using it as a repeatable piece of campaign language rather than a single execution. The project demonstrates how a simple cultural phrase can function as both copy and brand architecture — distinctive enough to be owned, flexible enough to travel.
